WHISKEY FOR THE UNINITIATED
Whiskey For The Uninitiated is Liethers’ second poetry release and first full collection. Constant in its sense of wonder, it comprises of 158 selected poems, prose, aphorisms and epithets that intuitively explore themes of identity, excess and internal displacement across 6 chapters representing the stages of inebriation: Sobriety, Euphoria, Bewilderment, Stupor, Coma, and Death. Micropoems appear with frequency, underscoring the ephemeral, cyclical nature of life. The book also features several of Liethers’ exclusive illustrations.
